Refund & Exchange Policy
At Ajay Kicks, we aim to ensure fairness and transparency for both our customers and our business. This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds or exchanges will only be considered in the following circumstances:
• The shoes are materially defective due to a manufacturing fault
• The incorrect size or style was supplied by Ajay Kicks
• The item was damaged prior to delivery
Refunds will not be processed for emergency situations, financial reasons, or where the customer requires funds back for personal reasons.
Sizing issues where the correct size was ordered by the customer will qualify for exchange only, not refund.
All exchange requests must be approved by our team before shipping the item back.
Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)
In accordance with the CPA, customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving an online order.
Returned items must:
• Be unused and unworn
• Be in original condition
• Include all tags attached
• Be returned in the original Ajay Kicks shipping carton
If the original carton is not used and the product packaging is damaged as a result, penalties may apply.
Ajay Kicks reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund or exchange.
Clearance / Sale Items
All Clearance or Sale items are final sale.
These items may not be refunded or exchanged unless:
• The item is materially defective
• The incorrect item was supplied
Shipping Responsibility
If a return is due to customer error (such as ordering the incorrect size):
• The customer is fully responsible for all return shipping costs
• The customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping the exchanged item
If a return is due to an Ajay Kicks error:
• Ajay Kicks will cover all shipping costs incurred
If a refund is approved, original shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount unless the return is due to our error.
Non-Returnable Situations
Returns will not be accepted if:
• The item has been worn or used
• The item shows signs of damage caused by misuse or negligence
• The item was damaged due to normal wear and tear
• The item was willfully damaged
• The product was purchased from another retailer
Refund Processing
Refunds will only be approved if the product is confirmed to be materially defective or incorrectly supplied.
Once approved:
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
• Processing may take up to 7 working days
